I need a recipe from Venezuela for my daughter's class project.?!

Question: Help !!!!
I am not the best in the kitchen. I need to cook a simple food dish that is culturally representative of the country Venezuela. Any help would do. I was thinking of some type of fruit tray with a dip.

This is an easy dessert that a Venezuelan friend makes. Its like an Oreo Cookie Cheesecake:

Marquesa

1 pie 1? hours 20 min prep

1 1/2 cups of crushed Oreo cookies
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 ready-to-use chocolate graham wafer pie crust

Mix all ingredients together, except crushed Oreo cookies, with an electric mixer on medium speed.
After thoroughly mixing ingredients add crushed cookies and stir into batter with spoon until well mixed.
Pour into pie crust.
Bake at 350 degrees until center is almost set or 40 to 45 minutes.
Cool and refrigerate.

Cachapas - - Easy Recipe

Cachapas are traditionally made with fresh corn, and are a summer favorite, but this easy recipe uses canned cream corn, pancake mix and whatever cheese you have on hand. Try this simple appetizer for a taste of Venezuela whenever you like.

I can creamed corn
1/4 cup corn meal
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
slices of cheese of your choice

Blend all the ingredients in the order listed. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
Heat a non-stick frypan and drop small amounts of the batter as if making pancakes.
Serve the cachapas warm, wrapped about a slice of cheese.
