Does curry make you stink?!

Question: I recently discovered that I really love curry after trying it, and I'm wondering if it's a bad idea to eat it almost everyday. A friend of mine told me that curry would make you stink, and I'm wondering if that's true?

Wow. Your question has nothing to do with race. Some people need to take a downer. To answer your question it can come thru your pores the next day, like garlic does. Or booze. But you'd have to eat a ton of it & sweat alot the next day. The health benefits are worth it.

No, but you can brush your teeth after eating, & give your friend a toothbrush. lol

Curry is a good spice to eat on a regular basis. There are studies done that point to the benefits of eating this spice.
You are doing yourself a favor by eating curry.

It's not the curry itself but there are certain spices in it that end up coming out in your sweat the day after you eat it. I eat Indian food a lot and speak from experience.

R U trying to be racist?
Bro I am Indian and I have encountered manyu insulting comments with swear words and **** but this is the most insulting comment and you weren't even trying to be racist .
this is a wierd world nowadays . but back to your question my mom makes curry 24 / 7 and i don't stink but usually ( to be honest to all the indians ) I haven't been anyware without a pack of tictacs or gum on me. Curry doesn't stink but it's distinctive flavor stays with you. so my advice just take a piece of gum or a few tic tacs after eating. But don't think of it like that think that you are putting good food in your body and you have to pay the price of a few breathmints.

thax, for understanding bro.
peace,
( p.s. I can't believe I actually wrote an answer to a question I usually just spam people with dumb answers )

no,it is nice

Some curry recipes use ingredients (garlic, ginger, turmeric, onions) whose aroma come out in your sweat. These ingredients cause a change in body odor whatever recipe you use them in.

I love curry as a spice use it almost daily but I can't tell if it makes me smell, over the odour of all the garlic I use, only people who never use these great spices would notice it any way

I'll never forget this moment...I was dating a guy, and we often went out for indian curry.

He took me to meet his parents....and his mother (who was only used to eating pot roast and jello her whole life), announced that there was a strange "foreign" smell in the house....I was so embarrassed. It was the beginning of the end of my relationship with the guy.

I'm indian and yeah that smell sticks with you. I love thai food but the spices are that strong like they dont use turmeric and stuff so it shouldnt make you stink. But I did hear if you eat garlic enough itll come out of your pores like the smell, and i heard thai food has it but its not the prominent ingredient, lebanese food has a lot of garlic but now im just ranting. lol. but thai food ull be safe but not indian food. Pakistani food is the same as idnian but it doesnt have turmeric in a lot of dishes so u can eat that without worrying about stinking lol.

it does not stink

I have no idea, but I have heard that about garlic, I eat garlic all the time and I don't think that I smell that way when I sweat or otherwise...happy eating

btw..i have tried green curry...different...good...it will try again

I don't really think that it does make you smell that much. If its bad breath you are worried about u could just pop in a mouth freshener after having the curry and if its B.O u r worried about use loads of deodorant. And anyway if u start eating it everyday u may soon get tired of it.
