Does an opened can of chipotles last long in the fridge?!

Question: chipotles in adobo, 7 oz.

Answers: chipotles in adobo, 7 oz.

I always put them in a little container in the freezer, then cut or chip off a piece from that to throw into chilli etc when I need it. They'll last a couple of months that way. They freeze well. I freeze the sauce too and use that as well.

Once you have opened something, transfer it to a glass or airtight plastic container - never leave it in the can

If you want to conserve any canned food there's a trick.
Cover the can with a thin layer of cooking oil.
It will act as a perfect seal, the oil will get oxidized but the food under it won't. Still food does get bad in time.

Yes they keep a good long time: 1: Put them in a small Plastic sealable container: less air, keeps it fresh 2) Do not touch them with your hands always use a fork or spoon to remove any. Hands contaminate food.

Slainté (to your health)

I would use with in a week of opening if you have a jar with a lid I would transfer the chipotles to a air tight jar as the adobo can start tasting funny good luck paul 7 oz. is not a great big amount ,,, i wouldnt store in the can they came in

yes! a couple of weeks at least. transfer them into a different container though. if you need to keep them for longer, they freeze very well.
