find a spanish store "bodega" theres got to be one ...........btw you dont need one if your making tostonesyou can use the bottom on a glass and a plate good luck

if you are making tostones, you don' need a press.
go get a paper bag (like from the supermarket) and open it down the side. place the first fried plantains on the paperbg and fold the rest of the bag over so it covers them and smash away with your hand
