Dead taste buds! Help please?!

Question: Hi, I'm desperately searching for homemade Indian food to be delivered to my place for lunch and dinner. I’m currently staying in a hotel in LA-Universal City-91608 CA. I have been here for a pretty long time and have tried all the food in the nearby Indian restaurants but found them all to be tamed down for the American palette. I’m fed up of restaurants for now. All I need is good homemade food. Kindly suggest.

I know exactly how you feel--I can never eat at Indian restaurants, because it's all pale imitation. Unfortunately, I can't really help with your home-cooked issue (I'd be glad to advise if I didn't live in Seattle.)

Have you considered cooking your own? There are a few decent reciple books out there, and most of the ingredients can be found at small local stores (I wouldn't suggest getting the spices at places like Safeway, though. They tend to not taste as fresh as they should.)
