this sounds weird, but what i like to do is marinade the chicken in orange soda. marinade for 4-6 hours.
Orange juice, corn syrup, minced ginger, garlic and soy sauce with dash of corn flour. for the chicken, cut into thin slices then marinate with sprinkle of salt and pepper. Deep fry. After that, saute the garlic and ginger. Pour the orange syrup into the work. Once the syrup thickens, dump the fried chicken into the wok and quickly stir for 10 seconds. Bon Appetite.
have never been to panda express, but this is my recipe for orange chicken
Orange Chicken
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2/3 cup orange marmalade
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Saute chicken in a large skillet until lightly browned, about 7 to 10 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In a medium bowl combine the flour, broth, juice, marmalade and pepper. Mix together. Heat mixture in a medium saucepan over medium low heat, stirring constantly, until bubbly. Add chicken and cook over low heat for 4 minutes.
