What's your favorite Japanese dish???!

Question: oyako-don slightly scrambled eggs and chicken, over rice is fantastic, its name means "parent child". You will rarely find it outside japan, because it is considered too humble for a restaurant to do, but when it is done perfectly, yum.

A proper oyakodon has the eggs part cooked in a pan, and then the partially cooked eggs are tipped over the hot rice in a bowl, and finish the cooking with the heat from the rice. It is a really simple dish that this lumbering gaijin always manages to over cook.
