I've been in china for last 3 yrs and no where do they sell cheese or do they consume it i finally found some at the new Walmart that just opened but its sliced cheese (Kraft ) for my spaghetti I fly into Hk to get it

I really don't know for sure...never thought about it so this is a really good question. But I would assume it's because mixing meat and cheese is very hard to digest. Maybe??? Good question.

They are lactose intolerant as adults, it's a genetic thing.

Cause they don't have chesse in their countries..

Robert B is correct. 80% are, but I mean those in the Far East not South Asians where they consume dairy products.

Cheese is not so popular amont the Asians. They make the food with different sauces and spices . So u will find different taste and flavor in the Asian dishes

I'm not sure why, but that can explain why many of us Asians are lactose intolerant. It's never included in any of the dishes that my mom prepares as I was growing up. It's more about spices in our culture.

I have no idea. My family is Asian and we eat cheese all the time. I think that Far Eastern Asian people become lactose intolerant, but I know Indians use cheese in their cuisine.

That is not correct. The Indian dish, paneer is equivalent to cheese. Other kinds of dairy - milk, yogurt, buttermilk, ghee (clarified butter) are consumed.

not really, the mongols eat cheese made out of horsemilk

cheese is for you guys. but we still eat them though. it's like asking why there's no belacan (shrimp paste) in Western cooking. it's just that different cultures have different ways so just embrace it. and NO, not all Asians are lactose intolerant.

Because cheese isn't salty.

Many, many Asians are lactose intolerant or highly sensitive to milk/dairy sugars. They just never got in the habit or custom of making cheeses from excess milk.

hmmm i never really took that to thought but that is a good question!
