Any good sushi recipes that dont use seaweed?!
Answers: I love sushi but my dad doesnt like it. is there any way that i could make sushi that will apeeall to a 44 year old man? for example using chicken?
My dad is the same way. He has found to have the roll made with the seaweed on the inside (not sure what this is called) helps. He goes to a place near his home now and they'll use strips of cucumber I believe in place of seaweed and loves it.
Well wut kind of sushi were u eating. Im a huge fan of sushi.. n u can't even taste the seaweed. it has no flavor. Plus the seaweed jus holds it all together.
Try Inari sushi. It's basically just a soy bean packet wrapped around rice. Kinda looks like a pot sticker.
wow....I disagree about the seaweed. I am a pretty adventurous person as far as foods go and love different things but no matter how many times I try sushi (it looks so yummy!) the flavor of the nori kills it for me. I'd love it I'm sure if it weren't for the seaweed, and I swear there are a few out there that are rolled in something besides.....come to think of it I've seen them rolled on food network with just the sticky rice on the outside, no outer wrap at all and the filling in the middle. Might make it a little harder to roll it but maybe that is a thought?
