Katsuo bushi. Where to buy?!

Question: I want to buy unshaved (chunk) katsuobushi. I currently live in Singapore.

Does anyone know any place I can buy? online or offline both will be okay.

Thanks.

When I worked there in the 1980's it was not available, but I would check out the Japanese grocerys, you may have to settle with packets, here in Canada I buy individual ones, so I can use them one at a time and they stay fresher, a whole piece is harder to find, we used in when worked in Japan, and with the food import laws will not allow you to import it.

I found this website in Singapore and they have a variety of Bonito products I am afraid the whole piece may be very hard to wrangle, talk to them and see if they can forward you to someone who can, or talk to a Japanese restaurant owner/chef, maybe they can also help. With the website click on the top columns item listed as "Dried Items".
