What do people in Japan eat for breakfast?!

Normally rice, miso soup, a small piece of fish, an egg, a small salad, and sausages. Sometimes people add natto, pickled veggies or tea.
Some families have all western style food (toast, eggs, jelly, juice, etc.) and some have no western food at all. It really depends on the family.

My personal fav thing to have is simple miso, rice, fish and fanta(lol).



Note: Sushi is NOT eaten at every meal, nor is it common breakfast food!

Some people in Japan eat Natto, fermented soy beans, its pretty good but it smells bad. I usually get a Bento box for breakfast when I am in Japan.

im not japanese but i am asian... usually we eat rice and some variation of meat seafood and veggies... or like a bento box.... hope this helps
