Do you have a Wegman's around you? They should definetly carry it and they are a pretty large super-market chain. If you don't, try a local asian food store. I tend to think it's pretty widely availiable thing, but don't know how small of a town you live in. If you live in a small town you might considering just ordering it online, I actually do buy veal demi-glace online because I can't find it locally. You can actually get miso at a lot of different places now. Try a Fresh Market, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's (or insert your healthy fun grocery store here). If not, asian market is the way to go.
