Tomor is a dairy-free margarine, that is certified Kosher. It has little difference from other margarines that are dairy-free, unless you keep Kosher (follow Jewish dietary laws http://www.rakusens.co.uk/Basic%20Dietar... ).

Tomor is made from vegetable oil, water and other ingredients. I was unable to find a list of them, but you could try to get to a grocer to see if they carried it, see links for grocers that do carry it.

Tomor can be used the same as any other margarine, baking, cooking, spreading on bread or vegetables, in mashed potatoes, etc.

Personally, I prefer real dairy butter to margarine, for the most part, as I do not follow any such dietary laws. Seventh Day Adventists follow some of the same dietary laws, as do Jehovah's Witnesses (or they claim to, but they do not buy Kosher meat, they buy it at non-Kosher groceries, at least that's the practice of the JWs around here).

If you follow a dairy-free diet, perhaps Tomor provides a bit more confidence that it's dairy-free, since it's certified the way it is. I would expect it to cost a bit more than other margarines. http://www.rakusens.co.uk/FAQs%20Tomor.h...

As far as 'healthy' goes, it depends how you think about it, and how you eat the margarine. Butter has actual cholesterol in it, but cholesterol isn't 'bad' in and of itself, in fact, it's required for a number of bodily functions, and your own body manufactures it, you don't just get it from food. Margarines that are made from partially hydrogenated fats, while they contain no cholesterol, can actually raise your body's cholesterol level, and not the good cholesterol, either.

I don't know if Tomor is made with hydrogenated fats, but if it isn't, then you could say it's a healthy fat. Generally, if you include fats, oils and sweets only in small amounts in your diet, almost anything in moderation can be part of a healthy diet.

Tomor is Margarine, Kosher Margarine.
The supermarkets that do stock Tomor are always in highly populated Jewish areas. Tomor margarine as part of a Dairy Free Diet.

Tomor is a fat free margarine made from vegetable oil but I really don't know it's healthy or not.
