Answers: an oriental buffet near me was closed recently after dressed cats were found in their walk in cooler . their claim was that the cats were for their { the owners } consumption . of course i wouldn't have believed that either , and if it was it should not have been stored w/ usda approved meat . my question is : have you ever eaten at one of these type places and thought to yourself " this really does not taste like chicken -pork or beef , but it tastes good " . it has happened to me a few times , i was absolutely sure 1x it was dog { i have had dog b-4 } . this is a true event from last week .
If it tastes good, then it is good, even if it is cat.
I have, and never eaten there again. I only get takeout from certain restaurants for that reason.
That is so gross. No one in their right mind would believe that explanation.
Maybe this is a good time to start cooking at home....

What was the health dept instructions to the owners..
they are required to post it for inspection..
I had my goats hung for several days (a week) then butchered and wrapped... Here in northern California many butcher shops take in wild game for processing..why not cats for the select few.... You sure they did not turn out to be rabbits..
