What is "Poutaine" or poutian? i know it's similar to fries but?!

It is French Fries, covered with brown gravy and cheese curds. Very good, but also fattening. Anyway, it was invented in Canada.

    • French fries (chips) with brown (beef) gravy and fresh cheese. Chips and gravy is available even at MacDonalds in Canada. This is a French Canadian dish.
    It is called Poutine (pootin) and is a favourite here in Canada. Home made fries with Mozzarella cheese curds and gravy. Disgusting, yes but delicious too!
