Most Americans do not eat woodchuck ("groundhog") at all, even on Groundhog Day, but that's a great shame, 'cos it sure is good eatin'!

Here are some recipes:

hell no!!

Well, come to think of it, I did have some pork fried rice.

Ew, no! Ground hogs are not meant for consumption. They're a larger version of a mole or a gopher and those are just garden pests. Ground Hog's Day coincides with Arbor Day, which a great day to plant a tree. For the most part, it just a fun ceremony (done in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania) to watch on television, where Punxsutawney Phil is pulled from a tree stump and is asked to judge whether there will be six more weeks of winter.

Nope!

only if you want to spend the next six weeks in the bathroom
we eat prime rib
