What does pre op for ect include?!

Question: I went this morning to get my blood drawn, I have ECT coming up. Tomorrow I have pre op for ECT. Can someone tell me what to expect? Another question.. I will be having ECT 3 times a week for 4 weeks- that many iv's- won't it hurt mt veins- will the iv's hurt?

Please do an internet search for "ECT."
The IV might sting a little while it is being put in but should not bother you after that.
It will not hurt your veins having IVs placed numerous times.
