It is actually a delicacy in the Philippines. I have tried it and will eat every now and then. The broth or juice is really good and has a lot of flavor, while the yolk tastes just like a chicken yolk.
It's good when you sprinkle some salt on it, and have some beers to wash it down.

personally, i think they're gross, but if i had the opportunity i would try it. i doubt i would like it, but i'll give it a chance.

Yes. And you miss out so much if you haven't learned to eat it especially if you are a native Filipino. I'm Chinese by the way and the best part is the soup.
