Actually, I really like the fried chicken at Public grocery store. They have in the deli ready to go. It's crispy and juicy but not too greasy.

it'd have to be some family-owned hole in the wall place- they have much better food than bigger more upscale places

The Peach Tree buffet in Kansas City...little hole in the wall dive with crispy chicken...catfish...greens..potatoes and gravy...macaroni and cheese...and chess pie...sweet potatoe pie...but there chicken makes you feel like your back at your grand mamma's house on Sunday...all the folks that work there are beyond friendly...just a warm experience all around!!!! I make a pretty good plate of chicken myself(makes your tongue wanna reach back and slap your brains out your head!!!)...but there are never any leftovers.....sorry!!!!
