Are there jamaican and chinese versions of pizza?!

Question: Believe me pizza is almost unknown in Jamaica, the closest thing would be a roti, but that is more like a burrito than pizza, bread there is either flat or hard dough, tennis rolls or johnnycake, the hotels have some on occasion, but when I worked there and we did some you should have heard the hoots from the staff about the the "bunk that we served", a quaint way of calling it garbage.

In Northern China were wheat and noodles are more present than rice in the south, they have a steamed dumpling that is alot like a pizza with either almb, beef or other shreded meats, no tomatos, it is more a North American and European dish, there are parts of Africa and South America were it is not available, more were tourists may flock.

Maybe Jamaican, I went to California Pizza Kitchen and they had Jamaican Jerk Chicken..I forget what the toppings are exactly.

Pizza and pasta are originally from China. But most Chinese restaurants will just look at you funny if you go in and order pizza. Never heard of Jamaican pizza.

Yes. People name pizzas all the time its the signature dish or food that associated to that place. At California Pizza Kitchen they have the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Pizza which is the Spice & flavor of the Jamaican Jerk Chicken that spice is very popular if you ever had Jamaican food. On the other hand I also had Chinese pizza at a small local pizza eatery which is like a Stir Fry vegetable sauce flavor to it with beef or chicken. Like the Hawaiian Pizza its just pineapple added to the pizza with ham or bacon because Hawaii is known for tropical like the pineapple. Pizza toppings are plenty & people get creative in making them. Hope this helps.
