In India, you can get cumin flavored drinks (jal jeera). Also rose flavored sodas. In Goa, they have cashew and coconut flavored sodas. The most intersting Indian drink has to be BHANG which is consumed largely during the festival of Holi. It's special because it's a marijuana milkshake!!

I can't (for the life of me) fathom why consumers in parts of Asia, South Asia, S E Asia still fancy "KIckapoo Joy Juice" you know the Al Capp's Li'l Abner creation - I really believe that citrus flavored drinks are the flavor of the millennium.

Truly, there's something very refreshing about the taste and experience of imbibing drinks flavored with lime, lemon, and/or orange.... they impart a much more refreshing experience than colas or other fruit flavors. Sweetish-with-a-touch-of-sour seem like the preferred taste - a broad spectrum of consumers "favor the flavour!" (hey a catchy slogan)

Here in Asia, drinks (canned, tetra-pack, bottled) that are cooling for the body system are popular - flavors include crysanthemum, winter melon, sour plums, coconut, sugar-cane, bitter-sweet herbal concoction.

Sweet fruity and health flavors include blackcurrants, mango, lychee fruit, guava, roselle, green tea, soya bean milk.

My mother-in-law is from Korea and she loves milk soda, I can't remember the name right now. And recently, I began drinking plum juice from Korea it is so good, (I know you said soda but I suggest you try this also). Here is CA we get an Apple soda from Mexico, but I didn't realy like it.

In France we were introduced to Gini lemon soda. Haven't been able to find it anywhere since. We loved it, it had a touch of quinine in it as well as the lemon.

Japan's actually got a green tea soda it's really strange. I like the tea just not the soda ^^ My neighbour made his own mixing coke, fanta, lemonade and refresher sweets. That was strange 0o and left him on a sugar rush for a day lol

Japan's Cucumber Pepsi.

Taiwan has 2 of my most favorite sodas of all time. Both are extremely carbonated & make me burp like crazy, I love it!

Hey Song Sarsaparilla - it's like root beer
Apple Cidra - apple soda

In the USA, Jones' Soda puts out a Turkey and Gravy flavored soda at Thanksgiving. IActually, it's a different soda for the whole meal - main course, sides and dessert.

I've never tried it. It's a little too over the top for me.

Fanta Grape Flavored Soda. It's so good!

Here in Singapore we have the Whatever and Anything sodas.

WHen you order, you just say Whatever or Anything, and that's what you're gonna get. You won't know what flavor until you actually drink it. The cans are not labeled with the flavor, so you don't have any clue whatsoever!

I'm not a soda drinker so I haven't tried any of it yet, but from what I've heard, Anything is carbonated and Whatever is non-carbonated teas. ANything flavors are: Cola with Lemon, Apple, Fizz Up, Cloudy Lemon and Root Beer. Whatever come in Ice Lemon, Peach, Jasmine Green Tea, White Grape, Apple, and Chrysanthemum Tea flavors.

In the Philippines we have a very popular Dalandan Soda, flavored with the juice of native green-skinned oranges.
