Witch is better middle eastern or american food?!

Question: just wanted to know who like the two foods more or less.

Answers: just wanted to know who like the two foods more or less.

I love middle eastern food but on the other hand one finds all ethnic food in the States. So profit to try the "world-cuisine" in the USA.

PS: a good burger/hot-dog is fine once in a while...

middle eastern

American all the way

Middle Eastern.

BTW, other than hot dogs and southern fried chicken, what foods would you consider American?

American

would you mind defining American food please? I rather thought that most of what Americans eat is a fusion of traditions from other countries without an identity that is immediately recognisable as being purely American (although I would think that Cajun food probably stands alone in this). This is a genuine question in response to yours - not an invitation for abuse...

btw which witch is which?

Anything is better than the crap that Americans eat....seriously.....

Amercian food is a joke. Sweet bread and flouro orange cheese??? Wierdo yucko. Deep South is OK thanks to the Spanish and African influences... but...

I love love love love love Middle Eastern food. Especially real Lebanese food. Have you ever been to a Lebanese bakery? Oh my goodness yum yum yum. I used to travel to the outer suburbs to get it, but recently the best Lebanese bakery in the world opened up near my house. Here is what I have eaten in the last week from them:

Erbhen: a chewy rosewater sweet bread
Zatar: a firm pizza base coated in oily herbs, salt and sesame
Spinach triangles: not pastry, but made in the pizza bread which is not oily; lemony spinach and other veges - freshly made by hand, little ones by the dozen :)
Freshly cooked falafels in rolls with all the tasty pickles and hommous
A walnut and cracked wheat cheese-less pizza (can't remember the name)
Some kind of baked sesame bread-biscuit
Ayran - a slightly salty yoghurt drink
Lebanese pizza - it's like Zatar, but with tomatoes, olives, and cheese on it.
Some kind of pizza with a yoghurt cheese and herbs...
And some other things with different names I can't remember... ALL DELICIOUS!

I have the hots big-time for the young man in the bakery and I think he knows it from the way I swoon over his counter. Any man who can cook such healthy and delicious food for me like that, oh yeah... hehehe

Hamburgers just don't turn me on, ya know?

American food is a joke? Evidently you cannot afford a good ribeye steak and taters. Could your grandmothers and mom cook? Turkey and good old southern style cormbread dressing at holiday with a peice of pecan pie topped with vanilla ice cream. A rack of BBQ pork ribs with tater salad and hot rolls. Deep fried catfish or chicken with red beans and chow chow. Chicken fried steak served with green beans a dn a big pile of mashed pototoes cover with gravey. A big juicy flame grilled sirlion burger with fresh tomatoes, mustard and a sweet vadalia onion sliced thin on it served with aside of my grandmas fried sweet potatoe fries. Chicken and dumplings that were hand rolled and cut before tossing into the pot of bubbling chicken in broth. A bowl of hot chili on a cold day. A big plate of enchiladas with guacamole. Thats not Mexican eitehr thats Texican!

Midle eastern is what? A roasted goat? Well baby we got mouth watering cabrito served with hot tortillas and pico de gallo. Chips and queso. All Texican!
