DOES ANYONE TASTE A LATIN FOOD CALLED "AREPA", what do you think about?!

Question: I tried to make them one time.... after hearing so much about them. I read up on it quite a bit but am not really sure what they are suppose to taste like. I liked the ones I made but will wait until I can have them made by someone with more experience than I.

When made right they are very delicious! I like mine with ham and cheese. Kinda like grilled ham and cheese but even better.

Personally, I hate them. Something about the texture just skeeves me out. But everyone I've ever met in Colombia seems to love them, so they can't be that bad. I guess I'm just weird.

Arepas come from Venezuela. They are like tortillas, though made out of corn.
We usually eat it with a slice of cheese on top and a cup of coffee (for me tea, I don't drink coffee).

Cheers

I love arepas. I don't like the sweet ones too much, but the white ones they serve with dinner and sometimes they put the white cheese on it, those are awesome. Now I feel like eating Colombian food.

it tastes like kaka
