It is kosher and everyone who said anyhting other than Alaskan Pollack is wrong, they have been making it with Pollack since it frist was made in japan in the 1960's it's real name is Surimi.

Yes it is NOT shell fish. Shell fish are not Kosher only fish with scales are.. Cod & White fish qualify.

It's made of fish (cod/snapper depending on who you bought it from) you decide if it's kosher.

Regardless of what it contains...it must be declaired Kosher by the Rabbi!

There was a brand called "It's not Crab!" that was kosher-certified. There are other brands that are not kosher and have non-kosher ingredients in them.

Depends on the brand-check labeling for Kosher approval. According to Rabbi Saul Emanuel (link) Surimi in general was not developed for Kosher markets, but as an inexpensive replacement for crab meat and can contain traces of unacceptable fish or shellfish.

No its not kosher they use crab flavor.
