Authentic cuisine anytime between 1500-1800s?!

Question: I was wondering if anyone really has any authentic cook books (hand written or otherwise), cooking recipes, utensils used in these ages...anything to be a part of my corporation which promotes ''turnbacktime''...its under process, but..if there are people interested, please do send me private mails, we could discuss

thanks.

I am a former chef with an extensive collection of late 19th and 20th century cookbooks, in that era there is 2 issues with written cookbooks and the recipes for them, until movable type was invented and books were put into mass production and printing, most everything was word of mouth and set down in through the family's themselves, around the early 18th century chefs like Careme a innovator in early presentation did put books together, there is not a lot of documented history to research with, internet search's will give you some ideas and styles of that day and era.

I have gotten Ancient Roman, Greek and Egyptian recipes off the internet for dinners, I once helped a friend put on a real honest to goodness toga party with authentic roman dishes from before the time of Christ and into the A.D time frame.

Look up those dishes and cuisines you are interested in by just typing the words in the search line in Yahoo and Google for there results. Like 17th century Italian or French cuisine, even Asian ones will be available.

Ribbolita (sp?) It is a Tuscan bean and bread soup. Very good and very authentic.
