Do they sell authentic German bratwurst, sausages, and wieners in supermarkets?!
Answers: I loved the sausages I ate when I visited Vienna this past Spring. Do major supermarkets like Pathmark, Shoprite, etc. carry these kind of sausages? Thanks!
I have no idea about these markets..I'm in California.
here are some sausage sites I have found.

I've never heard of the markets you talk about, but if you know any Publix super market they carry german brats and saus. just ask the meat department.
Major supermarkets usually carry (un)reasonable facsimiles. I'd try a local German deli. They usually make their own and they'll have a really wide variety which may include weisswurst and knackwurst.

No, unfortunately, they don't. The next best thing, depending on where you live would be a german butcher and cold cut store or here, on-line, where many a sausage is bought and sold.
yes they do. i get brat at shop rite. my mom stocked up on a few packs to take home to florida (on ice) in january when she came to visit me.
pathmark carries sausages too, i saw it today when i was over there
