What country has the "best" cuisine (food)?!
Answers: I am American and I live in Spain and I can′t count how many times Spaniards say, without me asking, that their food is the best in the world according to studies. i however am not fond, never was and never will be of their cuisine. Am I alone?
The answer to this question is so relative... people obviously have different tastes, and also tastes can change. I'm an American married to a Nigerian. I used to hate rice, and I never really like very spicy food. Now I love it, and it's actually hard for me to even eat anything without onions and hot pepper. I even add it to most things I make, like eggs and spaghetti. No one can say they have the best food unless everyone in the world likes it, which is very unlikely. I used to think I made the best maccaroni and cheese in the world (and trust me, it's good) but the thing is, many people don't even like cheese. Also, roast beef and mashed potatoes used to be my favorite, but now it seems so boring. Oh well... like I said, it's all relative.
I lived in Italy for three years and Italians were the same way. My mother-in-law is Korean and she says the same thing about Korean food. Every culture takes pride in their cuisine. Some more than others. Just let them say it. It doesn't mean it is true. And really the truth, in this case, is relative.
I am Scottish
and I think its Italians
i love their food, and their attitude towards it
Chinese is my favorite.
Has anyone tried French-Vietnamese food? Everything tastes absolutely incredible - it is the most unique cuisine I have ever tasted (and very difficult to find).
America has the best cuisine in the world because we have every country's cuisine right here!
italian and chinese
Italy, hands-down.
Well now... "best" is for the person. I hated rice until I tried paella in Spain. There are things on the Spanish menu that are great and others I would leave alone. I have gone to Italy and have eaten more than anyone could imagine.
The international favorites are Chinese and Italian foods- most people about the world seem to like these types of food.
Remember that food and taste involve national pride. If you don't grow up eating paella or jamon serrano, it is not going to remind you of your grandmother. Food is very cultural.
Wherever you are, explore different foods- there has bound to be something you like. For example, I like gazpacho, but not in the quantaties they serve it in Spain.
No, you are not alone in your food preferences. I am just happy when I don't have to eat humble pie.
Happy eating

the best food may depend on the personal preference of every individual, what may be best for one is inferior to another.
it also depends on the loyalty of the person to his country, say your french then you will say french food or if your chinese, chinese food is best for you.
nowadays, they say that thailand food is the best, perhaps you can also try the food in the philippines.
That's really tough. I've not been everywhere but I would have to say that Greek and Japanese are my favorite. I have been to Spain and found the food good, but not the best of all my travels. It's so subjective though, I don't know how anyone could say what was "best".
Italy or France
italian - chinese -japanese!

I like japanese the best.
I'm not a traveller but my city has a wide variety of ethnic restaurants. I've found the foods of most nationalities to have a lot to enjoy.
Greek is wonderful. So is Indian, Thai, Italian, Chinese, Vietnamese, German, Polish, and Ukrainian.
I haven't had anything Aftrican so I can't say. Not really anything from the Middle East either. I haven't had much Japanese but liked the bit I did have. Same goes for Korean.
I don't care for Cajun. Something about how the flavours blend doesn't suit my tastes.
There is a Malyasian restaurant in town that I haven't tried but my sister says the food is really yummy.
I've traveled and worked in more than 20 countries..
I vote for Thai food.
I think all nationalities have their own unique tastes and complexities. But for me it's Vietnamese. But again I like other foods too. I think all foods are great.
has anyone tried pakistani food??if not than you should try that. its not indian but close to that. after that i think chinese is best. low caloric and delicious.
