What is the difference between food fads and a food faccilies???!

Question: A food fad is a craze to eat a particular food or dish. Everyone all of a sudden is eating (or drinking) something or other.

A food fallacy (which I guess is what you mean) is a mistaken belief about a particular food -- that it's good/bad for you, is/isn't high in sugar, etc.

I don't think you have the second term right - faccilies doesn't seem to be a word.
