South Indian food or North Indian Food, By better spicey Taste?!
Answers: Have you tried Indian food, Lunch or dinner, in India or,
I would say South Indian Food.
Yes ive tried Indian cooking it is great. You will like the North Indian food better, like mussaman curry it is fantastic
south hot and spicy, north a bit sweet and spicy..
I prefer north Indian. It's not as hot. Some food from south India is so hot it burns your lips. I also like the north Indian breads like Naan or Puris. In the south they eat more rice than breads.
North Indian Food....hot and spicy. Have you tried Punjabi, Kashmiri or Lucknawi cuisine ? They are awesome...try Kashmiri Rogan Josh or Punjabi Kadai Murg...or maybe Lucknawi Mutton Biriyani...
south Indian food is very good.they have a lot of rice, and rice based dishes.
There r mainly 4 south Indian states, Andra, Tamilnadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
Out of all these Karnataka and Andra food r very spicy.lots and lots of red chili in them.tamilnadu is bit OK.and kerala food contain a lot of coconut in them.
north Indians mainly have roti(bread).different types of rotis.they r all yum. and very easy to make.
North Indian food r not as spicy as south Indian. And if u want to taste the real north Indian food u should try Punjabi food they r the best north Indian food....i love them all.
then main advantage in north Indian food is that u can make it hot medium or mild.they will all taste very good.
on the basis of spicy taste, north indian is better especially non-veg. south indian too is very good in taste but less spicy and light for the tummy. u should try both of them they r tremendous and completly different from each other, not comparable.
ALL Indian food is delicious but I like West Indian cuisine! Especially Goan food and Mumbai street snacks (pani puri, sev puri, batata vada, sabudana chi khichidi....). As a Maharashtrian, food from my home state is always my personal favorite!
Have you tried anything from Western India?
North Indian or typical Punjabi cuisine has more non veg dishes and people eat more flatbreads (rotis or parathas).
South Indian food is mainly veg and rice is eaten in large amounts. It is very healthy.
Food from Western India is well balanced, a daily meal consists of veg (and also non veg if eaten), dal, chapatis or phulkas (flatbread) and rice. It is also less oily compared to North Indian cuisine.
South Indian Food is mostly vegeterian consisting of potatoes and soup.
North Indian food involves kebabs, naan, curries..it has more varieties.
You can make both spicy but north indian food is more eclectic =)
South Indian snacks are great but I find the entres rather monotonous. North Indian food has soo much more variety specially the meat dishes like 1 million types of biriyanis and kebabs...yum-o!
