Check out a Mexican ethnic grocer as well. There is guava nectar, which is not transparent like juice. You can also obtain ripe fresh guavas and a sort of thick very sweet candy known as ate (atteh) which is eaten alone or with some nice aged cheese.

a farmers market

Look for Filipino or Asian gocery stores. The Philippines makes guava juice and exports some of it.

Many supermarket sell guava juices, no fresh but its almost as good. Guavas are grown in tropical places, perhaps you can purchase from the local farmers in Florida or at the local farmers market! Enjoy!

You can get lots of Guava and other tropical flavored drinks as frozen concentrate. It's not straight from the vine, but hey, it still tastes good. Hawaii's Own brand comes to mind.

Check your local asian stores where you live...they will carry it...

Guava is very popular among hispanics, you can find Goya guava juice and canned guava paste. It is very good.

Guava in Brazil is goiaba and the paste is goiabada. I suspect you can find it freshest in markets that cater to large South American populations like Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, etc.
