My Mother isn't with me anymore , but she was a natural cook, she made the best fried chicken you ever ate, she could whip up a meal in no time flat and out of anything, wish I could inherit that from her.

Lemon pie

bierocks.....the best in town!!!

Her famous Corned beef on St. Patty's day.

Her spaghetti!

She would make it from scratch and let it simmer on the stove for an hour. When she wasn't looking, I would dip some fresh San Francisco sourdough bread in it. Of course, she knew that I loved it and would have it every weekend she had visitation rights.

My mother couldn't cook to save her life...

ham loaf.......similar to meat loaf, but made with ham and pork shoulder......comes from her irish grandmother.
its absolutely amazing!!!!

everything is good

my mom was a very smart woman and a great mom, but her cooking was horrible. Most of her stuff was hardly edible.
My grandma, on the other hand, made the best pastries and bagels in the world.

My mom is Korean and she makes lettuce wraps.
1. Take a big piece of red leaf lettuce and place a bit of white rice
2. Add beef bulgolgi and red pepper paste
3. Add a think slice of raw garlic
4. Wrap up and eat like a burrito

Very addictive.

My mother was a writer and a wonderful award winning cook, she developed many recipes (which she gave to me before she passed away)........... She had 10 children by the time she was 27..... She never made anything we didn't like..... and all of our friends came over to see what was cooking...

She made the best Chili and home made Bread you ever ate......

Homemade Chicken & Noodles (homemade too!).

My mums a chef so she cooks various foods but i think her best is biryani-an indian rice dish.

My mother did

Her golden fried porkchops... her mashed potatoes && ecspecially her brown gravy... no one makes it like hers...

My dad on the other hand is full italian and his Lasagna should be put in a box and sold in stores... Also his Crab Salad..

When my mom feels like cooking, she makes delicious and invents.
She makes delicious Yaki Rice (Japanese Grilled Rice).
She also makes milk stew, delious curry rice, curry noodles.
When I caught cold, she made special medicine food called Korean rice soup. It make your body heat up, so I would feel better, and it sure does.
She also invent Curry Spagetti which was very delicius.

My grandmother used to make special delicious V-8 drink when I was living in Japan before I move to Big Apple.

My mom's potato salad is the best I've ever had, hands down. Nothing fancy, just the regular ingredients: potatoes, eggs, Miracle Whip (never mayo!), diced onion, and seasonings, but it's just wonderful.

My sister and I both live in the same city about four hours away from our parents, but whenever we visit or they visit us, she always makes some, especially during the summertime. They'll be here for Easter next month, and I'm already looking forward to it. :)

my mom doesnt cook like ever, but when she does, its always fried chicken and it is delicious

My mother has to have directions to the kitchen...she thought a microwave was something short people did at ball games...she burned the ice..and we have an icemaker...the best thing she ever made????Reservations...needless to say...mom didn't cook!!!

Porridge for sick days- mine never taste like hers and hers are awesome!

Of course part of it is b/c she cooks it, and then spoils me rotten letting me do absolutely nothing except watch TV when I have a case of the sniffles. Haha, that's probably a reason why those porridges rock.
