Answers: I think that if it's ture that is the most gross thing I ever heard!

YES! i agree!

what is wierd to you is common and part of culture for others!

EMBRACE diversity and heritage!

that's like saying its totally gross that Americans put beef in their stew. Different cultures do different things and you shouldn't judge things before you've gotten background knowledge on it.

plus, if you've actually ever tried it, you might think differently. That's what happened to me when i tried Sushi

why should it be gross??? If eating octopus or squid is cool then so is dog! Maybe it's not for you but one person's bizarre is another ones delicacy. Most people in South Asia will puke if they knew that many Americans prefer rare or medium rare steak that oozes blood when you eat it. Actually most Hindus and Buddists would puke if they come to know the amount of animal flesh an average American consumes...period.

It isn't really that bad.... you just see it as abnormal because you have been brought up with the idea of dogs as pets, not food... I spent a lot of my younger years in Asia and its not just dog... they use a lot of different kinds of animals in their food which some people would think is disgusting... but it is normal to them... It is just unorthodox to western society because we eat different types of meats, but its perfectly normal in Asia. Not just China, but Korea and other places aswell...

I do! But thats on China not on the U.S.

My friend was born in China. She said that eating dogs and cats is very common there just like we eat cows and pigs.

I think that, that may be a different country

gross yes, but all countries have different customs, we judge to harshly sometimes without understanding the hows or whys.

my hubby says they do his grossed me out totally
