Where can we buy Mexican Nachos in India ???!
Answers: I want it in Tamil Nadu. In Coimbatore or Tirupur or Chennai or somewhere else.
This is a Mexican version of chaat! It will be easier (& also more tastier) to make some Dahi Batata Sev Puri!
You cant buy Mexican Nachos in India, it will be even hard to make them. Your best best is to try FOOD WORLD: first see if you can find tortilla chips and cheddar cheese. If these items are available, then the other items like onions, cilantro, tomatoes.... are easy to find.
Quick Nachos
Ingredients
1 large onion
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 tin red kidney beans
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika powder
2 teaspoons tomatoe puree
tortilla chips
grated cheese for topping
sour cream
guacamole
cilantro leaves
oil for frying
Directions:
1) Chop the onions (not too fine) and fry in oil in a large pan until soft.
2) Add the various spices to the onions and stir.
3 )Now pour in the tinned tomatoes, followed by tinned kidney beans and stir the mixture thoroughly. Add the tomatoe puree and stir again.
4) Bring to the boil and let the mixture bubble for about 15 min or until thickened. Stir continually during this process to avoid mixture sticking to bottom of pan.
5) Pour contents into a large oven proof dish (rectangle dish) and distribute evenly.
6) Cover the mixture with a layer of tortilla chips
7) Sprinkle a few handfulls of cheese over the tortilla chips
8) Place in oven (about gas mark 7) for 4-5 minutes until the cheese has melted. Add a dollop of sour cream and guacamole. Sprinkle cilantro leaves. Serve hot.

Why would you want to? Indian cuisine is too die for. I suggest giving it a shot. Other than that, you will just have to make your own nachos or try a western style pub.
I know a place in Delhi nice mexican Restaurant . Just make sure Call Fajita with (J sound ) other wise waiter is going to think you can't read the menu LOL.
