Made a spicy chicken casserole but on tasting it is a bit too spicy - anything i can do to take the kick out ?!

Question: Do not add sugar as it will only sharpen the taste of spices. Your best bet is to add slice of bread on top and let it soak the spicy oil, then remove the bread and discard it. Add little lime juice and pinch of salt. If it is still sharp then add cream if it is high on pepper and other spices. Add yogurt if it is chili hot. You may also add coconut milk to make it absolutely mild.

A little sugar ?

give it to me - i'm sure it's very nice as it is

Cream will take the sting out of it.

yes, some sugar will do it. or try adding some liquid such as broth or water.

You could add yoghurt or cream.....

fresh cream?

Lemon juice. Or cucumber and mint.

Plain yoghurt.

Add some coconut milk or plain (unflavoured yogurt). Heat through but do not boil as it will split.

Use a single cream to keep a good flavour. Dont try water or sugar.

coconut milk, and some sugar

Top it with a little sour cream or creme freshe.

You need to serve something bland along side it like bland Mexican rice or refried beans with cheese on them.

Spicy foods are usually served over or with rice for this reason so you can get a bite with as little or much rice in it as you need.

make a bigger batch, use more ingrediants minus the spicy ones.

The only way I know of is to cook it longer.
