Easy one: what are the spices they put in olive oil at Italian Rest.?!

Question: that you dip your bread it? Thanks!

Answers: that you dip your bread it? Thanks!

1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt

Grind together

To use, put 1 tablespoon of mixture in a small bowl. Pour extra virgin olive oil over and mix together. Dip warm sourdough French bread into the mixture.

Usually black pepper or crushed red pepper.
My favorite Italian place serves an herb infused olive oil with their bread.

I like mine was balsamic vineager, but I've mostly seen black pepper or oregano

Rosemary, thyme, oregano, basil, sage, garlic and parsley. The olive oil is well marinated with these spices then strained and put in a dipping bowl aside with basalmic vinegar. Warm fresh italian, french or sourdough bread is served for dipping. So good with fresh buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes and basil.
Abodanza!!
