What kind of Food do you prefer? Western vs. Asian?!

Question: Why? and what are your favourite dishes?

Answers: Why? and what are your favourite dishes?

When I cook at home I am influenced by both...so I guess I'm a fusion guy...I really just enjoying cooking for the whole family and I don't care what it is...though something new and challenging is always the best...fresh caught Tuna for some home made sushi is one of my favorite dishes to make...I have my own stir fry sauce that I created and I can whip up at any moment...I prefer not to use recipes so baking is usually out of the question...

i'd prefer asian food because its has that oriental taste. And i really like japanese food! sushi n sashimi are the best!

asian more healthy but western more deliceous.
favorite dish karshat

I like Asian, especially Korean food. I have that most days because my husband is Korean. I come from England and from there I like fish and chips, and roast dinners.

Asian :-)

western or asian.. i thought home-cook food is always the best..
buy all the ingredients u like best and whip up a satisfying meal urself..
western or asian, make it ur own signature dish.

I like both , and particularly fish dishes
I love Chinese , and also Sushi so long as it is good quality .
As for western and being Scottish I do indeed like Haggis with neeps and tatties !!
I think variety is the spice of life , and so long as the quality of the ingredients is good , and you have a balanced diet all should be fine.

I like both. I eat Asian food (Pakistani/Indian) every day since fresh roti (tortilla) are our main dish but I also enjoy eating western food.

Favorites:
Asian: Choley bhatura, chicken tandoori, aloo mattar gajar, chicken curry, beef kaboobs, tandori roti, samosas, gulab jaman, etc.
Other Asian food: Chow mein, Pad Thai, egg rolls, teryikai chicken and rice.

Western food: pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs and french fries!!

I live in Italy. Asain restaurants are often dirty and unsafe. Rats and bad food are usual. Therefore I prefer Western food.

Asian particularly Thai because they have such clean, fresh flavours, minimal cooking!

However I do like western food too - particularly hearty stews and roasts etc, particularly baltic ones.

Asian, defintely, partly because there are so many tasty cuisines for everyone. And I love Indian, Chinese, Thai, so much variety compared to Western.
(what do you mean by western - north america, europe, or both?)

well, western and asian food both have their strong points. You could even mix the two styles of food together. Ever order a cheeseburger from a chinese restaurant? the chinese make cheeseburgers totally different than how we do it. They're pretty dry, but just awesome.
and if you go to a chinese buffet, and if you get a plate of dry breaded deep fried food, such as shrimp, chicken balls, spring rolls, etc. and put gravy on them, you get the best of both worlds. It's just a strange combonation and sounds gross together, but in reality, the 2 really go together beautifully.

Certainly a personal peference. However my choice is western food. My opinion is that Asian foods(especially indian)is greasy and tend to be spicy too. However I luv chinese foods(no entirely healthy but yummy)

Asian. It has more nutrition than Western dishes and for me, tastes better. A mix of vegetables, nuts, and meat. Plus the rice, can't live without it.

western because America is the best! seriously, all Asian food tastes the same to me and its all oily. maybe once every other week do I eat it.

Asian because im used to it after all my mum makes me asian food. Paneer!

asian. i like just asian noodles and meat

Asian-it's just nicer.I do eat Western food too though.

I love them both.
My dad was American and my mom's Japanese. He didn't eat Japanese so we had both every night!

asian! western food taste the same to me. not extreme enough for my taste buds

Asian but I also like Westen.
