Is jareesh and bulghar the same things?!

Bulgur is cracked wheat. It can be coarse ground and used in the same way as rice, or fine ground and added to kofte (meat balls). Sorry, don't know what jareesh is. Sounds vaguely Arabic, in which case it's probably similar.
