Chicken fried rice without black soy?!

Question: So i'm going to make Chinese Chicken Fried Rice from an online website that i found... but the video suggests black soy is optional... i totally forgot to buy it and when i went to my supermarket, i didn't see it anyway... so will the taste be really different if i don't add the black soy? Also i bought low sodium soy sauce, is that a big problem? i want it to come out good, im making it in my new wok (which i seasoned... very hard by the way, even dangerous!) this is the recipe, if you want to see it http://www.ifood.tv/recipe/chinese_chick...

Any soy sauce you have on hand will be fine and if you prefer to avoid the saltiness just leave it out altogether.

You don't allow email so I hope you see this. Arroz con Pollo is a more compact dish than fried rice. Seems like there was too much moisture or it was a short grain rather than long grain rice. I use basmati when I want a soft, fluffy and looser dish. Report It
