Do you like to eat dim sum? What is your favourite kind of dim sum?!
Answers: i love the lo mei gai, dahn tat, hakao, shu mei, pai gwut everything is so delicious. I love visiting my grandma in hong kong and going out to eat dim sum every morning ;]
always order the hakao. i like dimsums but i always go for the hakao. i won't tell you what a hakao is. you have to find it out yourself. it is how your magical taste journey begins! dont ask a question here about what a hakao is. you'll only cheat yourself. now, if your local chinese restaurant doesn't have hakao, then you're not really eating at a chinese restaurant.
I love shu mei and the Potugese custards and the shrimp filled green peppers and the lotus wrapped chicken rice and the shu mei again and the....
I like the spare ribs in black bean sauce, fried taro puffs and usually order from the menu fried rice with salted fish and chicken (Hom Yue Faan). All the dumplings and the rice rolls (Cheung Fun).
However, put in front of me, I'm sure I'll like it.
Now for me I am more into the traditional things, chicken feet, tripe, squid and turnip cake.
I do like Har Gao, the chciken and peanut dumplings steam items like the BBQ pork bun and the Lap Chong rolls.
I love dim sum so much... It's a three-way tie for my favorite kind. Beef tripe in ginger sauce is awesome; I love the chewy texture. Deep-fried taro puffs- they are delicious and crunchy, and go so well with plum sauce! BBQ pork buns (the sticky kind, not the actual bread kind) make me thankful that I have taste buds; when they are hot, they are guaranteed to please. Also, I really like preserved egg congee. Definitely worth a trip to Chinatown.
My FAVE - steamed bbq pork buns.
YUMMM!!!

I like the shrimp dumplings (har gow), shiu mai, shrimp rolls, turnip cakes, sesame balls, shrimp toast, chinese brocolli, egg custards, chive dumplings, sweet rice wrapped in lotus leaf, and BBQ pork buns (steamed and baked). Oh, and the congee too. Pretty much everything except the mango pudding.
My absolute favorite thing is called dou fu fa (sp?), the silky tofu in sweet syrup. Yo!
siomai, siopao, spicy ribs

Cha siu so, har gar, har cheung (fun), steamed beef balls (San joke ngu yuk), cha siu bao, Chiu Chow fun goh (dumplings), ma lai go (steamed cake) are my favourite.
