Do you have Indian Restaurants in the US?!

Question: and are they different from those in the UK? what do they serve (names of dishes) and what does it taste like. Do you like curries? and if so how spicy?

I like 'em hot! LOL

Literally every metro and city in the US, that has an Indian population, boasts of a few [or even several] 'Indian' restaurants !
Just like in the UK, a majority of these are run by Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, and even Malaysians - and the quality of what all they offer is on par with those in the UK [as good, or as bad, both !]...
From Punjabi to Keralite, from Gujarati to Kannadiga, and from Bengali to Maharashtrian - you will find most types of Indian cuisine on offer, in most menus. But most of these usually prove to be mere apologies for the original dishes !
The quantum of 'spiciness' depends solely on each restaurant's 'regular' customers' tastes. The food will be blander in a hotel catering mainly to Gujaratis, and most pungent if catering to a Telugu clientele !
...But, anyone from the UK will be pleasantly surprised by the prices - which are only around 40%-50% of what is currently charged in the UK !

We have Indian food, and Hindus and Sikhs as well. So far, I have not found any I like. We call it East Indian as to differentiate between them and the native folk.

Native American (Indian) food is easier to find than East Indian food in this area as I'm in "cowboy and Indian" country and live in one of our many National tourist traps. I haven't had much East Indian dishes but I've had a few Indian dishes proudly sold at the pow wows in the area. Most are not hot and spicy but they are quite good.

Well yea they do have thousands of them in US, plus if like to try some of those dishes here is a website which has pretty simple instructions and picture menus.
