I agree i think iranian food is absolutely gorgegous! Have you had the rice? the kinda burnt bottom bit called tadik is just lovely

Each has the best of its own. I like America for its lovely barbequed 1/4 pounders, jumbalaya shrimp, and wholesome cakes and pies and deep fried southern comfort, but I also like England for its creams and strawberries, but at the same time loving Germany for its meatballs, bratwurst, breaded veal schnitzel, and custards. I like France for its pastries but Greece for it gyros. I enjoy the spices from India, but the green curry from Thailand. Generally...I like food.

I think every country has its own unique cuisine .. so you cannot compare!!! what may be excellent for you may not be for others!!!But i think Asian and South American countries cuisine are very much varied.. Tropical countries also offer such pleasant and varies dishes..

Hong Kong - they've got succulent roast suckling pig, braised abalone, sharks fin broth, birds nest soup, sea cucumber and a million other great dishes....
France for it's products from the 'terroir',
large variety of fine foods ( foie gras, truffle)

Without any doubt at all I would have to say the US, because it has more restaurants serving food from all over the world than anywhere else! I live in a smallish city, but we have Ethiopean, Indian, Pakistani, Mandarin, Szechuan, Irish, French, German, Korean, Japanese, Iraqi, Iranian, and even a Polish and an English restaurant!
Greece, of course! Have you tasted homemade Greek food? Absolutely delicious!
Then, there is Italy, Spain, France, USA, Mexico, Lebanon, Germany, India ......
Indian chicken curry , german wurst , italian pizza , paella frm spain , mexican enchildas , greek salad .........

Iran has the most sophisticated food, I'll give you that. But for everyday workman's fare, nothing beats a good British supper boiling on the stove.
