Greek dessert?!

Question: I'm looking for the name (and eventually for a recipe) of a Greek dessert that I've eaten before. The name was distinct, I just can't remember it. It has honey and almonds and they were cut into little bars. They were very rich and filling, had a consistency like that of a very compressed cake and was sticky with the honey.

And no, it isn't Baklava.

I reread what you wrote-- and I realized that it is something called Revani. That is cake-like and has almonds. The recipe is here: http://www.recipezaar.com/75736

halawa

baklava

Possibilities:

Melomakarona
Phoenikia
Kourabiethes
Paximadia

halva is the only one that comes to mind.
