Is their a junior national cooking team?!

I am a former chef and in the trade in both Canada and the U.S, they have competition for a Junior Olympic team to go with the formal one to Berlin or Frankfurt Germany in 4 year of the cycles plus they have a separate competition on there own, most states and provinces here in Canada have a yearly or bi-yearly competition for a place on each team and then a national one to determine the members of the National Jr team.
You would have to be a very good cook as they do not just take anyone and most of the competitor's are from the culinary schools in your state. If you choose to become a chef and want to compete, you would need to get in the competition through your school not alot of walk on competitors for that kind of contest.
