Where can I buy squid ink in Montréal?!

Question: Deseperately wanting to cook a risotto al nero di seppia in Montréal(Spanish: arroz al ***** de sepia). The fisheries never heard of clients asking to buy this.

I would look in the Italian delis in Outramont or Bonanza in Laval, or look it up in the Yellow Pages, even buy say 6 good size squid (you can make frito miso or marinated squid for an antipasto/tapas), they will still have the ink sack in them, or if you can find a whole cuttlefish, that would be available in the Chinese area at the fish counter.

I worked for a brief time at the QE Hotel in 1980's and vistied a friend who worked at the Delta for years back in the 90's, check out those ideas, if you can find the sepia packs at the Italian stores they keep for a long time, but the squid or cuttlefish idea is an option too.

Eww i eat the squid but i would never do anything w/the ink!

Try this place (no pun intended!)
