What type of food do the people of Morocco eat?!
Answers: I am doing a report on Morocco for a class. I am having the hardest time finding what food they eat can some one please help me out?
Besides couscous, Morocco is famous for its tajines. This is also the name of the cylindrical vessel in which this dish is made. It a delicious recipe similar to a curry or stew.
Another famous dish is bistella or b'stilla, this is a phyllo pastry usually filled with minced pigeon meat. Moroccan mint tea is also very traditonal. Lots of lovely salads (like carrot & raisin salad) & Moroccan bread round out a typical meal.
