I would say a proper English sunday dinner....roast of beef, yorkshire pudding, veggies,gravy..roasted potatoes..and english triffle for dessert* or custard with bread pudding

fish and chips is definately also a popular food , along with all sorts of sweets*(pastrys, desserts of all kind and chocolate)

The most popualr food to eat out is curry at home its oven chips

Apparently curry is now eaten more than anything else.

My personal fave is fish and chips tho, yummy.

Nope, it's a well known fact that the most popular food in Britain is curry.

The potato, we eat it with almost every meal.

i think Fish and Chips are!

I'd like to say it's fish and chips, sausage and mash, roast beef and Yorkshire pud, but I think it's more likely to be burgers curry or some other ethnic cuisine.

1) Haggis, 'Neeps n' Tatties, followed by Cranachan

2) Full English/All Day Breakfast:
Black and White Pudding
Scrambled Eggs with chives
Grilled Tomatoes, bacon and sausages
Garlic Mushrooms
Beans
Followed by 3 rounds of buttered toast, and washed down with a huge mug of freshly-brewed cha

3) Rabbit Hotpot

4) Roast Beef, Yorkshire Puds and 'all the trimmings'

5) Braised Brisket and Dumplings, (*)mixed veg, mash and covered in thick red-onion gravy

6) Game Pie with (*)

7) Mughlai ghosh, vegetable-saffron rice, peshwari naan and onion bhajis

8) Macaroni-3 cheese with leek

9) Omelette Arnold Bennett

10) Rhubarb and apple crumble covered with vanilla custard

11) Kedgeree

12) Bubble and Squeak

To mention 'just a few' of my personal faves!

A good curry or a Chinese , then fish and chips

I have heard that pasta is now our national dish.

You might eat curry occasionally or junk food when your're on the go maybe a roast if you have time at the weekend but I reckon pasta might just about be the most consumed dish in the UK on a daily basis.
