Is greek and italian food different?!

Question: Hello, hello hello
They are very different.
Although alot of the ingredients are the same, the way they're prepared isn't.
Greeks and Italians love fish, lamb, cheeses, pasta, eggplant etc etc( you name it) but thats where it ends.
Lets just say, same foods, different styles of cooking them.
Yes, I'm going with that!
Good or no?

yes

Last time I checked I didn't find pizza at Daphne's Greek Cafe....

yes, different
Common italian foods are spaghetti, pastas, pizza,
Greek food is gyros, lamb, lots of stuff with feta, fish, etc.

It is in many ways, considering that the ingredients and cooking styles come from their respective countries.

yes. Greek cooking has been influenced by other cultures, as have the cuisines of most countries, of all of those countries, Greece must be foremost in the ranks of having a "fusion" cuisine which is easily traced back to 350 B.C.
Italian cooking is more of a regional based cuisine with 20 different regions each with their own specialties. Not only will you find it regionalized but localized. A receipe can change drastically within a 10 mile radius.

yes, very different. about the only similarity is the use of olive oil.

Of course different....
Italian food is cheesy.....
Greek food is meaty......

Although many of the ingredients are the same, the taste is different. Both use olive oil, olives, herbs, cheese, meat. Italian tends more towards pasta and tomato, while greeks prefer plenty of veggies and lamb, leaves from the vine and really sticky sweet desserts.
