Oh yes, they are good - generally speaking. They could be very fatty. Traditional confection like mooncake use lard, that's why it smell and taste so good.
I like red bean paste, lotus paste and the pineapple kind.
There is a variety of different inner content, some has salty duck eggs (yoke) so you have a contrast of sweet bean paste + salty egg yokes, very interesting. But i personally don't care about the yoke.
making it could be a challenge, but it's almost like fig newtons...

Oh, yes. They are not so sweet and a delight to eat. They are like a very mild mincemeat with a fruity after taste.

They're good and I tihnk they'd be perfect for your baske sale. A lot of people like them. They're quite popular.
It depends on the recipe you use to make them, but look at the ingredients. You can use different things. I find that they are sweet.

I personally like mooncakes, but Chinese mooncakes are very dense since the filling is bean paste or lotus paste which is quite different from cupcakes or cookies.

As long as your customers are aware of it then you should be fine. However, if your customers expect something light and airy, you'll have a tough sell.

YES!
