Is Indian yogurt the same as any i can buy locally?!

Question: I know homemade is not the same as bought but, I was wondering if Indian yogurt is similar to anything i can easily buy.

If not, what are the differences?

it's basically the same
if u want the closest 2 d real deal add a squirt of lemon juice to the plain full fat yoghurt jus b4 u use it

you can buy it at an indian market, but regular plain yogurt works the same

yeah it's pretty much the same. to make raita i usually combine yogurt with some sour cream.
