What is the favourite international food in London and in the UK?!

Question: Italian, Japanese, Mexican?

Answers: Italian, Japanese, Mexican?

Strangely, it was announced a few years back that the favourite non-national dish in the UK was officially 'curry' - but of course there are many kinds of curry. One of the top favourites for many turned out to be chicken tikka marsala - and here's the amazing thing, this is a dish that never existed in India or Pakistan, it was made up to suit the British taste - and wasn't that a success then?

Another favourite these days are the Thai curries - like green or red Thai curried chicken.

On a quick check, there are over 5000 Indian restaurants in the UK.

There's a great Mexican restaurant just around the corner from Covent Garden tube station

For a lovely afternoon tea, no one beats St. Martin's in the Field in Trafalgar square
